Weekly Finds

Last week the BFF Kasey re-introduced me to Adkins Architectural Antiques.  Oh, my goodness I could visit this place every week.  It is fantastic.  They have all kinds of great treasures, most of them old and some of them new.  I picked up a few items while we were there.

I had been looking for whimsical knobs for the cabinets in back bathroom and I was thinking clear crystal knobs would be great, but I hadn't found them yet.  Boy am I happy I hadn't found them yet.

If you have been reading the blog a while you know we are in a house that was built in the 30's.  The tile in the bathrooms is old school and the back bathroom has lavender tile.  It is not in the budget yet to do much bathroom updating so the lavender tile is joining us for a while (don't tell the husband since this is the bathroom attached to the man cave, but I kind of like the whimsical lavender tile).  Anyway, I found the perfect cabinet pulls for the back bathroom!

Hello, lavender crystal knobs!

There is no denying the lavender/pink of this bathroom, so I have decided embracing it is the only way to go.

Love.

I like these much better than I think I would have liked clear crystal.  Perfect.

Another find...this awesome planter.

I can't wait for spring planting...maybe this weekend!

Finally I saw this red glass hob nail basket that I could not leave behind.

I plan to incorporate it into my breakfast room shelves.  I think it will work perfectly there.

If you live in the Houston area, check out Adkins...you won't be sorry.

Other finds from the week include this wonderful soap dispenser for the front bathroom.

Blue is my accent color in this bathroom and I had been looking for a new soap dispenser.  I found this one for 7 bucks at Marshall's Home Goods.

Sammy also scored a new find this week.  A collar on clearance for 5 bucks and a blinged out new name tag from PetSmart.

Pretty Girl

Wow, that was a lot of stuff this week.  Did you find any new must haves this week?
