Weekly Finds

Outside of all the wonderful flowers I got this week to spring-ify my backyard, I fell in love and had to have these great chalkboard pots from Home Depot.

Considering you can get a plan clay pot in this size for around a buck, these were definitely a splurge since they were almost 9 bucks each, but aren't they cute?  Googling around this morning I did find this tutorial on HGTV on how to make a chalkboard pot if you're interested in a DIY version.

Sammy received her second BarkBox yesterday.  She was very excited.

"I love my BarkBox."

 The box included two toys, two bags of treats, and a poop bag dispenser.

Sammy loves this wool rat toy she scored.  It has a hilarious tail that sticks straight out.

I think Sammy likes it extra since it freaked her grand mother out.  :)

Sammy Surprise

Sammy got her first BarkBox yesterday.  She was very excited.

Have you heard of BarkBox?  I read about it on Jessica's blog Fantastically Average and knew that even if Sammy didn't win her giveaway she needed BarkBox in her life.

Whenever a package comes to the door, Sammy always inspects it with anticipation and it is pretty much never for her.  Well, now she will get packages each month and rescue groups will get a donation from us.  I figure I spend 20 bucks a month on silly treats for my dog anyway, I might as well channel it to a fun surprise for her and a donation for needy pups.  Win, win.

Sammy got 3 packages of treats (one that is a dental chew), a funky penguin toy she loves and a teeth cleaning ring toy.

We played and played; then this happened.

Worn out pup = BarkBox success.

It was a good day.
