Pupdates!!

Happy September everyone!! How did September sneak up on us by the way? Are you as shocked as I am?

It is a truly wonderful start to the new month...I have an adoption to announce, so I will jump right in. Our sweet little Suzie Q has found her forever home!

Congrats to her and her new parents!

I mentioned last week that you can donate to Red Collar Rescue every time you shop at Amazon by using their Amazon Smile URL. Well, today I have another fundraising opportunity to share for all you athletes out there.

You can turn any race you sign up for into a fundraiser for RCR by setting up a donation page with Reason 2 Race! If you run, bike, swim...consider setting up a donation page for Red Collar to turn your races into life saving events.

Suzie Q

**PUPDATE!  Suzie Q has been adopted!**

It's Wednesday!!  Time to meet a precious adoptable dog!

Hi! Hello!!! HEY...DOWN HERE!!

I’m Suzie Q and I might be small, but I have a huge heart and I am ready to be your lap dog. I won’t lie; I have had it pretty rough. My hero found me in her neighborhood, but not before I wandered out into a busy street. I was so scared all I could do was sit there frozen until she called to me.

She took me to the vet and now I am flea free, spayed, and getting back to a healthy weight. I gotta tell you this not living on the street thing is really pretty awesome. I don’t know how I got so lucky. My foster mom is teaching me all the manners I need to be really great at living in a house. I already know how to sit, I’m crate trained, AND potty trained. Cool, right?

I love the treats, so I am super easy to train. If all of that isn’t enough for you, my foster mom says that I don’t ever play with or chew on things that aren’t mine. Isn’t that great? I am a good girl! I am also very gentle, quiet, and young (between 1 and 2 years old). I get along great with other dogs and cats; to me it’s the more the merrier. Don’t get me started on snuggling. Sometimes my foster mom lets me snuggle her in the bed and even share the quilt. That’s the best.

If you are looking for a little one full of life and love, I’m your girl!

How can you resist that face?  They do say the best things come in small packages...and this little girl is awesome.  If you would be interested in meeting Suzie Q you can email info@redcollar.org for more information.
