Daisies!

I wanted a new picture for my wall at work.  I love daisies...don't know how you might already know that.  I found a picture online of a yellow one and a pinkish one.  I pasted them together in Photoshop, printed them on a color printer and ta-da...new art for the office.  :)

And as a topper to my day...my husband came home with these!  I love that guy!

Fourth of July

I was on the beach for the 4th of July and the fireworks were beyond expectation!  It was such a great time!!  My pictures do not do them justice, but here are a few of the better ones.

The fireworks were literally right above us.  It was spectacular.  I need a better camera.  :)

Back from Vacation!

And apparently I took the entire month of July off from my blog...but the interesting part of July was our trip to Gulf Shores, AL.

The saddest part of our trip is that Sammy, does not get to come along...she loves the beach.



"What?!  I'm not invited?"

But you will be happy to know she got her own vacation at Bed and Biscuits Pet Spa.  She loves it there.

"I love it here!"

Our trip starts in Hattiesburg, we head there on a Friday early in the morning to spend the day and meet up with my sister, brother-in-law and nieces.  There was a perfect calendar picture for the departure date too.

My sister and I ran some errands on Friday in Hattiesburg.  We made a stop at the dollar store for beach toys for the girls and I saw and purchased this.

Our vacation was very relaxing.  We spent a lot of time in the sun, ate good food and had a few cocktails.

BEACH TIME!

As I write this post about a mini vacation on the beach in Port Aransas, Texas with my sister, nieces, friend Stacey and her twins I am packing to spend a week in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  I love the beach!

A few weeks ago my sister, Audrey and my nieces were in town.  Stacey invited us to join her and her twins down at her beach house in Port Aransas.  Yes, please!  Thank you Stacey!  We had a GREAT time!

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and stayed until that Wednesday morning.  Sunday evening involved wine on the deck and Monday was spent at the beach.  Relaxing!  Monday night we did an adult girls night out.  Stacey had a sitter over so we headed out for dinner and drinks.

Tuesday on the beach I found a sand dollar floating in the waves.  I have never found a whole sand dollar on a Texas beach.  Cool.

Ooooh, Aaaaah

Tuesday evening we cooked dinner at the house and enjoyed a little more wine.  Good times!
